BUCHINARI, SINALOA
The Mexican military has arrested 5 gunmen in this small town, and seized their weapons which included rifles, handguns and ammunition. The vehicle they were in, reported as stolen, was also seized.
NEZAHUALCÓYOTL, STATE OF MÉXICO
The bodies of a man and woman were found dumped in the street, with hands and feet bound. There were bullet wounds to their bodies, with a final “coup de grace” to the head. A narco message was left, signed by the LFM (La Familia Michoacana).

ISLA, VERACRUZ
The three-time mayor of Isla, Nahum Tress Manica and his son, Oscar Tress Marini were killed while driving to the island. In the past two years, at least a dozen people have been executed, several of them prominent politicians of that region.

CUERNAVACA, MORELOS
Ten federal police have been detained and are being held in a Morelos jail for kidnapping and extortion. They went to the business allegedly with an arrest warrant, and then took a businesswoman to her home in an exclusive area of Jiutepec. There they told her they would help her for 1 million dollars. She called her brother who agreed to pay 200,000 pesos, but in reviewing the video of the business, realized they were federal police. He sent the video to the commander of the federal police, who proceeded with criminal proceedings against them. The following day, a Judge ordered them held.
TAMAULIPAS
A federal judge has ordered the arrest of the former Governor Tomas Yarrington Ruvalcaba, and INTERPOL now has the warrant and is looking in 150 countries for him. He was last seen in public in May.  Photo below.
